Senior Land Development Engineer

Eclipse is currently seeking a talented and dedicated Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager with experience in the municipal sector (oil and gas experience would be an asset). The successful candidate will provide leadership and direction to our experienced team of professionals.

Reporting to the President, your responsibilities will include:

- Infrastructure design including grading, underground utilities and surface construction of subdivision projects
- Related infrastructure modeling to local municipal standards
- Assistance in the preparation of tender contract documents, cost estimates, field survey packages and engineering reports
- Project management from preliminary engineering design to construction completion including attendance at meetings with clients and approving authorities
- Strong leadership skills and direction to Engineers and Design Technicians
- Water resources and modeling of related infrastructure
- Working closely with internal divisions within Eclipse including storm water management, legal surveying and drafting
- Ensuring project completion meets the expectations of our clients, approving authorities and contractors
- Legal survey, urban design and construction services

As the successful candidate, your qualifications will include:

- A minimum of 10 years experience in municipal design and infrastructure projects (preferably in southern Alberta)
- Registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGGA
- Experience with land development agreements, design standards, land use bylaws and technical specifications
- Infrastructure experience for both underground and surface design
- Understanding of the CCC and FAC process
- Proficient in civil/structural engineering design - AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, drawing preparation and construction monitoring a definite asset
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
